I agree that Ayane's command training is repetitive and not so much exciting even for me. But when you acquire the knowledge of the imputs and start to experiment mixing them in the actual gameplay, she become exactly the opposite of predictable and the possibilities are endless, believe me.
This is right (indeed the training is for the most the execution of variants, for this reason can appear not so great in certain points), but the metagame available with Ayane's moveset is imo one of the best of the game tied to her particular nature of unpredictability and mixing. I can use her in a way truly limited compared to what other people here are able to do, but I think to have anyway noticed it.
I hate ayane..but I guess I was just pretty tred when I tried to learn her..might give it another go. She's my second most hated character in the doa universe.
