Yeah, he came at me with the shittiest Bayman talking about he's really good. He argued about how the game mechanics are ruined and that because of that and its broken characters, its never featured at tourneys like Tekken or Street Fighter.
He also didn't like the fact that I was pretty good with Akira, who he hated because he's from Virtua Fighter. AND he hates Virtua Fighter because he thinks that the game is "too hard".
SF is played by the mindless masses that don't know any better and just follow the crowd. Tekken is similar in that respect. Whenever someone gets their ass kicked at DOA they think the game is dumb. Hell, I'll pick Momiji and play DOA5LR like Tekken and whiff punish all day erryday lol.
The differing reasons for why people hate DOA & VF crack me the fuck up. "DOA's just a RPS, mashy, titty fighter", VF's "Too hard". The hilarious thing is that DOA5LR is almost as complex as VF5:FS. You can button-mash in both games and still win at a low level. I tell them "3 Buttons, you only need 3 buttons!".
I hate SF with a passion, or more accurately, I don't like 2D fighters as a whole. Tekken, I'll play the hell out of that! But what I don't get is how people call this game garbage just because they can't figure out the mechanics through the very detailed tutorial...
This game is very open to newer players, yet people don't ever take the time to learn how to play. Niggas see that the game is free on the store and they be like "oh hey look, a free game! Lets see if people actually play this shit." And when they get online, they get bodied...
Because most Western players are lazy, ignorant shits that only take the easy way out. DOA5LR's actually a lot more complex to play properly than it looks so it can throw people off. People in this society have been conditioned to think DOA is shit for some reason whether they've played it or not.
People need to stop just jumping into the online modes thinking that they can mash their way to victory like in SF and actually go through the tutorial and LEARN.
Lol, People spam their hearts out in SF4 or TTT2 online. Those are cesspools to play in. No one wants to take the time to figure out how something works. Though that's why I'm making a guide for DOA5LR.
Personally I take great pleasure in beating relatively newer players to DOA. It's like I'm beating the respect into them until they actually appreciate the game for what it is.
