It'd be the same with player matches,but ranked has them "excitement" going on with the points,so people will(might) try harder in ranked,so if that occurs in ranked,just switch to player matches.

I honestly don't see the point of ranked. Sure, you can have a pretty symbol next to your name but to me, all that means is that you were able to cope with the mash from the people you were fighting. Either way, lobby matches have lag and mash, too. I have like a 23 win streak on ranked right now on PS3, and I could honestly care less if I lose it because ranked matches mean even less than online lobby matches to me.

I used to, too. Until I noticed what I was doing to get that rank. It takes time to realise how unimportant rank is, but when you do, it makes sense lol.
