    Some top players have gotten away with worse such as being extremely late for their pools in tournies. I'm ambivalent to this controversy.

    Showing up late for pools is a different story because there's usually a good reason for it. There's a difference. If they were doing something that they shouldn't be doing, then yeah, but if traffic is holding up, car messed up or some incident happens, no. Then of course they're playing in another game.

    Also, why should he get a special pass to use any costume he wants? There were probably people there who weren't able to use their favorite costume either but they didn't complain. Plus, its a waste of time and inconsiderate to the people who are just there to play and have fun. And wouldn't switching to his console give him an unfair advantage? For all we know, he might have rigged the random select stage.

    Regarding the stage select, the random filter was not set to Dojo and Danger Zone (which I believe was at least soft-banned in tourneys). Had that been the case, there would've been significant friction between him and the opponents he was facing.

    Minus the jab at PL toward an unrelated game, the DOA podcast was surprisingly not as vicious as I thought it was gonna be. I liked it.

    The "jab" was more a conversation about events that occurred and have since circled the FGC. If you listened to the rest of it, you'd hear that myself and PL don't get along but we respect each other and as such were able to coexist and play in the same room and casually chit chat. That's the message. Pay attention.

    I said "I liked it". If I didn't, I would've called it a shitfest instead. In fact, I would've dismissed the entire podcast and raised hell in this forum by now, not caring if I got banned. But for the sake of certain people I trust, I didn't.

    Either way you could've proven that point easily without bringing up that incident. Enough people are giving PL hell about it as it is. That's why I believed it was a jab.

    Honestly doubt they will do more than 1 guest character. I was hoping for Joanna Dark as the guest character. But Battletoads hasn't had anything in years so I'm not sad
