Yup Welcome to my world try having a conversation about the gameplay that's another headache .

every single argument i see is "accept DOA for what it is!" and right now im starting to wonder what everyone seems to think it is and what TN thinks it is. guess ill get my answer when that new character is released. depending on the answer i dont think i can deal with this game or its fanbase anymore.

The game can be pretty fucking hard to explain to novices and noobs. A lot of complexity to the system.

"accept DOA for what it is!" = "A fighting Game" anyone who says different is Stupid. If any of you are brave enough to stay when Doax3 comes out Good luck on Stupidity x2 the community. By then people really don't care about Doa5 anymore.

Non context fanservice is the best.

As much as people may vouch for Itagaki, DOAX was the dumbest fucking decision with regards to DOA's credibility in the FGC.

Talking about it (doa5) with others usually works better when they're directly watching you playing or play it with you.

Having a conversation without or to someone who just know it by name usually contains a lot of condescending comments towards females and superfluous "wanna-be cool and masculine" - talk.

When I play DOA5LR with someone they quickly see how legit the game is when they notice that mashing gets them nowhere offline. It's like you have to "beat" the respect into them.

But...accroding to the loud mouth dodo head in MI tournament, DOA5 is ass and mashing works if you do it right lol. -___-

Mashing works if the opponent's defense sucks. Same in other fighters (though you can trade "mashing" with "spamming"). Feel free to mash against me offline. I welcome it.
