NGRE was ok-ish but still paled in comparison to NGS neitherless NGB.

NGRE is great once you get used to the combat system though the level design is still shit cuz of NG3.

Yeah, NGRE was a step in the right direction, but you are right that NG3 held it back.

Yeah I agree with you guys. For NG4 they better take their time carefully considering what was right with NGB/S and how they can synthesize something fresh without loosing what makes NG great nor having the exact same experience. I'd rather they focused on NG instead of X3 to be honest.

I agree ng2 was kind of ass, but it's better than 3/re.

Eh, kinda like saying one turd is better than the other lol. Both games were missteps. RE at least moved in the right direction giving me hope for the series.

Considering that ng2 was a rush title due to Itagaki's situation it is kind of worse that it turned out better than ng3re. I don't see any good direction from it.

NGRE combat system > NG2

The only thing NG2 has over NGRE is level design and a couple of more weapons.

Enemies and story was better in ng2. Didn't like ng3 battle system, either. Only thing made that game enjoyable was the co op, and it's pretty bad if they have to rely on multiplayer in a ng game.

NG2's story made no fucking sense lol. Could've used more enemies designs in RE however.

NG3 and NGRE are completely different games in terms of enemies and combat system.
