The training dummy has a base mode of recovery for some reason. You'd have to assign the dummy to the 2nd controller so it doesn't auto wake up. Unless there's a setting I missed.
I usually just use the Record function and record the dummy to do nothing. As such, the dummy will not stand up after going down allowing you to test force tech setups and the like.
Doa needs to take some notes from VF for a more comprehensive training mode. You should be able to choose which way the dummy techs after knockdown, change starting position (for example "opponent back to wall or your back to wall," and the recovery issue you guys were talking about to make testing of FTs and ground properties better.
