I wouldn't say GOTY but its definitely up there, this iteration is a bit too shooter for me though.... That case it feels like TR Legend had a baby with Uncharted lol

I think it has a great balance between shooter sections, stealth sections and story progression sections. Speaking of the story; it's probably my favorite story of any game ever. It has really captivated me. The characters are amazing, and the character development for all the major characters are extremely well done. Everything from gameplay to the story is just perfect in my mind, so for me, it is by far GOTY.

Idk maybe I'm a bit of a TR purist at heart, the action sections seem to outweigh the actual tombs or puzzles which were more common in the earlier games.

The first Tomb Raider reboot was a GOTY contender in 2013, so can't say I'm surprised about RoTTR.

@UpSideDownGRUNT I do have to admit that this game is hugely focused on action, combat and stealth. However, the puzzles you do come across are great. I've also heard later on in the game, there's this 4-in-1 puzzle that is super hard.

So there is elements to please the puzzle-lovers as well. :p I have to say, even though I LOVE puzzles, I'm a sucker for action and stealth. I love sneaking around, taking my opponents out one by one while staying hidden. :p

@Force_of_Nature This game is basically the first reboot, improved in every way possible. :p So, definitely a GOTY contender. It is by far my personal GOTY. ^_^

My GOTY is honestly a tie between MGSV or Life is Strange
