You're going to need to defeat Xcalibur Bladez & CrazySteady offline to be considered.

I used to feel that way with Akira. Wanted to be number 1. Then after a while I realized that I didn't want to be number 1, but I just want to be able to handle the amazing players. In my mind, I don't even need to win. If I can bring them to round 5, then I succeeded in my eyes.

Got a long way to go, though.

There's no such thing as a #1 Helena or Jacky. There's always improvement in games like these and most of that improvement comes from offline matches/training. In a truer sense it's a cooperative effort between many players; that is, it is not an individualistic endeavor - being the "best". It takes a community. Not your bootstraps.

@lotr9690's point is "Why"? I also gave a tip that you're going to have to beat Xcalibur Bladez & CrazySteady offline to be considered for that title.

Thanks @Force_of_Nature - that's exactly what I mean. @Gregory Greene I'm totally chill; that wasn't a lecture. Please accept my comment in the spirit it was meant to be interpreted: as an observation. You need to involve yourself offline; meet other active players in your community.

(cont). For me, that means I go to the arcades when I have the time. If I don't, I can participate by showing up to the event and cheer them on for an hour. Swap tech, help each other improve etc. Perhaps your goal can be met through leadership in the DoA community. There are so many other ways to be the best - don't sell yourself short. You have a lofty goal, I'm trying to give you creative ways to reach your goal.

I'm on yours and Force's and Hazard's and whoever's side. Put the work individually AND involve yourself deeply in the community. Skill will always improve - but more importantly you can improve your skill and the overall DoA Comm - they both are a reciprocal relationship. Thats why i brought it up :)

And to be fair, you can still be an average player in the community and still be looked up to if you just do what you can do best to support the community and not take sides. Cause who knows, maybe one day you'll have to leave the DOA community for some reason. But if you put work into said community towards its growth, it won't be forgotten.
