Tournament players goes the extra effort to travel far and wide to attend DOA tournaments and advertise the game, allowing newcomers to stream into the community.
Someone like Emperor Cow would make sense. His contributions behind the scenes have been incredible. If the Australian scene is active, I'd like someone from there.
Do you think it's fair to me either? If you live outside the US or Japan, you're generally up shit's creek with regards to competitive offline DOA play. I have worked damn hard to promote DOA in my region. LordXavier has done the same.
I think people who have done a significant amount of support for the community should have priority.
Emperor Cow, has made tons of Character combo tutorials in both languages and even got the attention of Team Ninja.
