to believe. :'(

People say a lot of things to comfort themselves, especially Christian societies. I don't mean that in a snarky way! If that's your thing that's great. I've noticed that for x-tians, these tragedies also leads to many crises of faith. Hope you can find some comfort soon. Perhaps some doa to distract you?

Lots of horrible things happen on the planet but you have to make your own choices and believe in yourself that you are making the right choice.

I choose not believe in any religion that is filled with holes but i believe in the possibility of "some sort of afterlife" after death.

I do believe God is real.

regardless of your beliefs never leave the problem to faith. only once you you've exhausted your options should, you leave it solely to hope/pray

And thats why I pray to a petrified Sandwich I found under the fridge two years ago.

It never lets me down.

The possibilities:

1) God is real and is omniscient, omnipotent, and a total dick.
2) God is real but is not as powerful as he's purported to be.
3) God is not real.

Pick which one sounds the most logical.

I'm scared to pick those questions lol.

Okay chaos look, if belief is real and God sends evil people to hell and Satan punishes them doesn't that mean that Satan is good ? And I hate it when they say "God hate gays and lesbians" like people choose their sexuality like they are picking clothes :/

Satan perpetually tortures innocent people simply because they don't believe in a God who does nothing to help them or prove His own existence.

Does that sound like a good person to you?

Hell in the biblical sense is basically being trapped in a volcano for all eternity,there are no mentions of any demons torturing anyone in fact they're just as fucked as the sinners. Satan is said to tempt those to make them suffer the same fate as he did but that's about it. God is still the one that turned on the stove and left everyone to burn after Satan's failed rebellion.

Luring people to be trapped in a lake of fire qualifies as torture where I'm concerned.

its certainly not nice. its like those angry spirits you would see in horror movies. yeah they're taking revenge on the completely wrong people but the person who did that to them is even more at fault.

I believe in a greater thing but I don't believe God and Satan are 2 different beings. If God made everyone to his view he did made Satan and knew he would end like this. God is neutral in my eyes because if God is that powerful, evil wouldn't exist
