In a game like this, lag's got massive impact (especially considering how unstable the netcode is). That is to say, "it was the lag" is not an excuse but merely an explanation.
It is but if you're an offline player why do you take online so seriously ? You know the consequences of online so why keep complaining about it ? You know it fucks up frame data, your punishments and the way you fight so why complain ?
That's what people need to stop with. I like playing vs good players but as soon as they start to complain they demotivate me to play vs them or even be respectful to them. I don't take online that serious because I know it ruins most of my stuff, but I still have fun. Because I love doa and I love the friends I play with I usually have fun with them. And that's what it's all about. Having fun with your friends
grunt said it all . sometimes or hell ,everytime u gotta deal with whatever is presented in front of you . imo lag is not BAD until u can see each individual frame , i mean there's a reason developers put 1 bar practice option , if not anything , practicing on 1 bar ensured i can execute any juggle at any speed with my usual roster , offline or online np . big thanks to the makers of top tier guide
The reason why some people complain about DOA Online is due to their current disposition where they want to practice & train at DOA5LR legitimately but can't access an offline scene often enough (or at all), thus forcing them to have to put up with the bullshit online in a feeble attempt to acquire MU-training. I have a consistent offline scene so I can ignore DOA Online. Not everyone is that lucky...
^Definitely. And also that one bar setting doesn't feel accurate. If someone plays online with console I'm fairly certain skill is irrelevant. It is incomparable even to DOA5UA, when someone else's station is like on the other floor LMAO! Maybe they should switch to Sega next iteration.
SEGA distributed DOA5UA if I'm not mistaken. I've never had an online match before that has even remotely simulated an offline match before. It's like two completely different play environments. I just find with online matches that you can't properly decipher a player's skill because you can't determine what's truly legitimate or not. Would love SEGA & Team Ninja to maintain their partnership.
I find that online nerfs and hinders fundamental play a lot. I.e. I could beat a much better player online, though if I were to play them offline, they'd likely thrash me. I can beat people 200+ times in a row offline if their fundamentals are lacking. The only time I ever have fun online is when I'm trolling people.
Haha I hear that from a lot of people. I've only recently gathered up the confidence to troll people online. It's rather satisfying to troll a troll Marie, I must say.
