Luckily I only purchase costumes for characters that I use (Which a ton of people should of been doing in the first place.) Are you trying to buy the entire pack?

Was considering it. Like you, I typically only buy specific costumes for characters that I play (mostly just Ryu, Nyo, Leon and Lisa). But, every so often I'll buy an entire pack, if I'm sufficiently happy with its overall content (the last time I remember doing this was back with the "Legacy" throwback pack).

Mains because. It's unnecessary to buy an entire pack just because you like the costumes that's just wasting money.

If you play alone, perhaps. But if you play about half the roster in offline casuals using your console and other players play the rest of the characters then the purchase doesn't feel wholly pointless.

Brutinus I use everyone too most of the time but I won't spend money on them.

I applaud you. People will buy a $1000 season pass for one costume and nothing else yet somewhere in the future where the game isn't super supportive, they'll release the outfits separate from season passes since it will no longer make sense to keep it as season pass.

Brute - Understandable.

I don't like throwing my money out when I don't know exactly what I'm getting in return. As such, the "season pass" trap rarely ever snags me, and certainly never when it comes to things like costumes.

Wouldn't buy a whole season pass just for 1 costume and the so called exclusive season pass costumes aren't even worth 90 bucks seriously season pass 1 and 3 are just Recolors and season pass 2 is just a costume swap and people actually pay 90 bucks for that :/

$3(au) a costume is pretty standard for DOA. Tbh I thought it would cost more, since collabs always seem to cost $5 (au). Either way buy who you like but add it all together, see if it reaches the price of the total pack. Everyone I liked reached to about $36 so I'm better off just buying the pack.
