Two things in particular stand out to me- therapists being able to deny some of the people who need it most and the physical danger trans people are put in forcing them to go to the wrong bathroom not to mention the mental stress
Wow, that is incredibly sad to hear. In one of the videos there was one anti-LGBT protester who was like: "What about the protection of Christians? We need to be protected." Protected from what exactly? o__O
That young woman was black. Can't she really not sympathize what it is/was like to be discriminated against for something you don't chose to be. Most of all in a state with the history of NC.
Her being black is irrelevant. If the idea was that someone should empathize with other, unrelated marginalized groups because individuals who share some of their attributes have been discriminated against throughout history, that would include about every human being on the planet.
Sigh, religion is such bullshit in general, I respect the people who believe it, but I don't have one single shred of respect for the belief itself. Christianity is so misguided and contradictable. and I feel sad for the woman people should be able to go to the restroom of the gender they want
it's not like they harass people in the restrooms, they just gonna utilize the toilet or fix their make up. why do people make such a fuss about it ? seriously it's pathetic.
This is really sad. As someone who already has social anxiety and social introversion, I can just imagine the stress they'd be feeling having to use the restroom they don't wish to, and then putting themselves in danger to those who oppose the LGBT community. Whoever makes these decisions needs to really get a brain check.
