Sounds like a spacer/zoner, that's kind of how I play. Just use patience and bait a reaction, so that the player will throw out something and you can blow them up. We're WIDE open when we naively fall for that unfortunately. XD
The way I see it, it depends on who you use. For example, with someone unsafe like Kasumi or Phase 4 your left pretty wide open. If your using someone safe, like Kokoro, You could obviously block or hold. When using someone unsafe, you need to be more cautious. That's my penny. Obviously better players will know what's safe and unsafe. You (and me too) need to learn better patience (I just inspired myself xD) cont.
Camel you should play me more often when I'm not on Overwatch. After having sets with me you'll likely improve against the run away game plan when playing others.
@Camel with 2 thumbs I'll focus on NyoTengu since she appears to be your main. Her spacing and keep away tools are not the greatest, but she's a fantastic character at forcing reactions out of the opponent, which is exactly what you want in the sapcing game, you have 4P+KH and 9P(PP) do so, you also have 6P+K and 6K to put on block allowing you to start your offence.
You also have 66K if you want to close distances yes or yes, it essentially works like Jann Lee's, it's 2 frames slower, but also a frame safer, you won't get to press a button afterwards, but you'll get a safe way in, practice your fuzzy guarding.
@Darkslay in retrospect i could be using alot more fly mixups in my spacing game, it closes distance pretty fast and she has hella options after it; grab, low, grab, free cancel, feint with p+k, feint with p+k into several strings and moves. what good are my mix up options if i never enforce them in a match lolz, thanks for reminding me
@iHajinShinobi definetly when im off this DS3 kick I'll gladly play you again, cause i need to figure this shit out, I dont wanna lose to lame play forever!
No problem, dude, and remember, if you get knocked out of the air at any time, that's actually a good thing, you've successfully changed what your opponent will expect from you next time you're spacing.
