I've never actually owned a single NG game.

you're doing it wrong. You should play Ninja Gaiden as soon as possible... everyone should!

Just pay attention to the versions of the game you get. Vanilla NG3 is pure trash as far as i know, and NG3RE fixes the combat (most of it anyways), while also having ayane, kasumi and momiji in it, For NG2 and NG1, it will depend if you have a ps3 or a 360.

you had before doa x2. and Gow 3... Nah, i'm joking, you play what you like, but i guarantee that a single NG game alone will give you more play time, fun, and rage, than both of these games.

I have NG Black, 2 and 3RE, 2 is my least favorite of them all so far, but that is only me, i've spent too much time with ng3re already, and maybe that changes when i reach the same with ng2, but black is undeniably awesome.

he means NG for the xbox. The vanilla version. NGBlack is a special edition of that, it is a xbox game that runs on the xbox 360. And there is also a remake for ps3, called NG sigma.

@Sotherius As badass as Hayabussa can be, I generally prefer playing as female characters... so i might want ng3re for that reason...
