1)He dat the OG tengu. The boss of DOA2, and had an effect that blurred the screen somewhat if he was attacking you. 2U replaced this with a stage weather manipulation. Overall just pure evil and hates humans.

2) I like how over the top he is and his look of of total badassery on his face. His theme is awesome, and his style is fun to use. I dislike having to deal with it though, he's annoying as a boss character...

not much since i haven't played DOA2, but the best thing I remember about tengu is picking him in DOA4 online and the guy going "oh shit he chose tengu" and changing to tengu too so it was a mirror match lmao

I know that Bankotsubo Tengu has a big nose like Pinocchio, and has the ability to change the environment as demonstrated in DOA2U. I also know that Tengu can fly and call people brats. I like Tengu's flying throw where he whips people around then slams them to the ground (like NyoTengu's 9P~T). I also like his badass theme that needs to appear in DOA5LR. I dislike Tengu's slowness, clunkiness and limited moveset.

Mainly part of DOA2's story, but returns in the games after that as a playable character( even in 5 in Nyotengu's form). It is said that the nose of the Tengu can cure any diseases. Defeated by Ryu at the end of the DOA2 tournament.
Likes: Sounds like a badass, feels like a badass. Sometimes defeats you in the story mode like a badass.
Dislikes: Don't really like his second costume.

A killer of his own kind, and a renegade Tengu, seeking only chaos and destruction(bomb), Bankotsubo was the boss of DOA2, and he was fucking hype. He has probably one of the thickest Japanese accents I've heard in a videogame, he also shares the same birthday as Mai, funnily enough.

I like everything about him, awesome depiction of a classic Japanese myth, and that stage changing effect in DOA2U is still the most visually amazing thing I've seen in a fighting game to date. No dislikes here.

What I like about Bankotsubo is that people who demanded him to return in DOA5 so bad it resulted the creation of the underrated Nyotengu. I also like the fact that GameFaqs forum was butthurt that she was the new dlc character instead of him. XD

1) I know his story/backstory. 2) Best boss in the series. Godly voice. Fun moves. Awesome nose. I want him back with special win poses and tag throws with his nephew.

Most badass character in any fighting game ever. Greatly underappreciated dude with an ungodly beautiful beard and ripped body. Sick alternate outfits in 2U.

I love basically everything about this character. His design, his animations, his voice. My god, his voice. So satisfying to hear his screams and laughter as you destroy your foe.

I dislike how horribly unnecessary his nerfs were in DOA4, making him completely nonviable. And how so many people shunned him because they have bad taste.

Bankotsubo described himself best in DOA4, with the (translated) words "divine perfection."

1) I know that his DOAD character model was his best character model. But there's still room for improvement to make him more sinister... IF TN decides to resurrect him.

2) I like his voice actor. I disliked playing against him in the DOATEC Germany stage in DOA2U. Veteran players should know how unfair an advantage he has in that stage alone.
