I just started playin lol for the first time a few weeks ago. Takes getting used to due to controls and SO many characters to learn

Right. There's too many things matchups and things to learn. And even after you do that, there's the social barrier and finding consistently good team mates.

@Argentus @Rikuto it's funny cause those complaints can be attributed to fighting games, hell i have co-workers who are hardcore into league/dota but you try and get them into a fighting game and all you hear is "there's too much to learn" "the controls are too strange" "the barrier for entry is too high" etc.

which sounds like madness to someone like me whose been playing 3d fighters since...forever (VF2 in the arcade baby!), but i can understand the frustration, hell i love fighting games and there are genres i'd love to get into (air dashers/anime fighters) but i've been out of the loop for so long trying to break in seems dam near herculean

See, thats where its horse shit though.

There are far more characters to learn in MOBA's and they are always adding more. Every character is another matchup for every other character.

And in fighting games you never -- NEVER have to deal with team work.
