I think DOA has a more straightforward wall game when opponents are hit against it imo but I don't think it's realistic, the bounce off wall just seems weird XD Telken I feel has a much more unforgiving wall game since the animation is more realistic and it can take forever to get up since your opponent is more open to wail on you
Plus Tekken has wall throws from certain characters but DOA has throws that can knock am opponent into the wall, so I think they both have their ups and downs
If you take unholdables into account & forced techs at a wall, DOA's wall game isn't necessarily more forgiving, it's just that Tekken's damage is a lot higher when you do get hit. Tekken's wall game is not more complex than DOA's, though I do prefer it because I hate DOA's angled wall hits. Tekken's wall hits aren't more realistic than DOA's either.
Are you sure? In DOA they just bounce off the walls and you can do a weird looking juggle where they'll slam against the wall like it should naturally be but in T7 they actually slam into the wall which I think looks natural since they tumble down unless you do additional follow ups
Not all walls give you wall-bounce, i'm pretty sure of that... There is cases where the character stumbles off it, like he is trying to recover, but real wall bounces, i think only on stuff that would bounce, like wrestling rings and all of that.
