And I agree... not for the same reasons.... I think Video Games shouldn't tell stories because it simply doesn't work.... not without sacrificing the things that make the game a game in the first place...

Read a tiny bit of the article and yeah he sounds like a pretentious asshole tbh. Smh at this in general honestly since there's plenty of ways video games are able to tell and have told interesting stories in ways that books and movies just aren't able to.

There's plenty of videos that have told much better stories than a movie or book could because of the way video games work with it being interactive and being able to be a bunch longer length than any movie at an hour and a half. So the idea that the "shouldn't tell stories" or "can't" or there isn't "good stories" in videos is bullshit to be honest.
