& second don’t act like this hasn’t been a regular occurance for the last 4 years where the general discussion threads (where I’d argue you get the quickest news about the game on this entire site (a big reason a lot of people follow them)) just disappear

it got locked and deleted because two people were arguing *and wouldn’t stop out of the like 20 people that followed that thread. So the obvious solution is nuke the thread and fuck the others

I know for me personally it’s like “again? Well the news thread is gone why bother checking the site”

And they don’t. People just move to profile posts or I assume discord til the next general thread pops up It doesn’t help some people are afraid of making a thread in the general section bc they don’t want to get it instalocked
