In my case I sat through the match but then my game black screened after the end of the match. And I think it's because of the fact that the higher ranked you are, the higher the punishment. 300 points can easily be made up in the matter of a few matches.

I'm not sure if the ranking points deducted from disconnecting from a match were reduced after the patch. But, it's stupid that you get deducted that many points even though it was because of a stupid glitch that's basically unavoidable (unless you avoid ranked matches altogether).

It sucks regardless. Luckily I have yet to catch it but I had classmates who took finals while they were sick this week.

smh. People go complaining about wanting guranteed combos but then start bitching about how a character is broken because of them and wanting them nerfed.

Wasn't one of the goals of DOA5 was to create more guaranteed combos?

Happened to me on pre-patch on 360. I definitely wasn't happy as I lost 3000 points plus my win streak.

If the bounce from Kasumi's 9K is like DOA4, I'll be a happy camper. I haven't been able to use her DOA5 9K because the follow up options from that are next to none, if any at all.

I'm assuming blue and green Alpha is still not allowed for certain stages right? Nothing in the patch notes mentions any changes in lighting or color readjustments for Alpha.
