The problem with high and mid parries is that it turns the camera around. You have 16 frames of advantage Lei only has 2 moves that stun that are that fast. 9k is easier to stun with (imo). 6k is a more damaging strike. 6k is a slightly heavier stun as well at 34 frames (no slow escape) 6k is 29...
k2k on counter hit will link to 6k 3k p+k. Parries will usually reverse your opponent to the other side. You can get a guaranteed stun using 6k as well if you fast enough. (Timing is tight on that)
I'm sure there will be ps3 pads there. Bring one just incase converters are allowed. I think this is the first time Merced has seen DOA at a tournament. Ill be helping my friend Matt with the details when I get there.
In the move list there in the retail version of the game, 64P with Leifang is listed as CB in training mode. Probably a mistake by TN. Ill post a picture as proof.
There's another move that's listed as a CB but its her faint stun. You cannot hold from this stun. So in essence it works a lot like a CB move just not "officially" a CB move.
Ill ask about the xbox to ps3 converters. (edited) Yes there allowed.
As far as matches go probably regular tournament standard rules.
Normal Life 60 sec ( I think 99 would be too long)
2/3 double Elim
PS3 only
All stages allowed.
(Still debaiting on a Split on the pot or Winner takes all)...
Friend is probably gonna hold a DOA5 tournament on Oct 7. More than likely its going to take place in Merced CA. Going to wait a little longer for more information.
Nykko is considering something in Oct in the Bay area as well. Just trying to give you guys a early heads up.
Ill use the powerblow as an example since he brought it up. Why would I sabaki a powerblow with Leifang when. . .
(A.) Sabaki active window is much smaller than a active hold window (You chances of connecting is much smaller.)
(B.) If a sabaki connects you only get a small amount of damage and a...
