DOA5 is going on 5 years old at this point. That's ancient in modern FG terms, and most games with comparable ages have died off outside of Japan. I really would like to see a DOA6 somewhere in a year or so, but given their decision to focus on cosmetic dlc, I don't expect it. There's like 4...

IDK how many new people see this. But I still host in Greenville, SFV is obviously the main focus now. BUT I will always make time for people who are interested in DOA.

Any guides for Pai out there/solid Pai players to look for?

I think the guide covers most stuff from what I watched of it. I don't feel like he has a lot of tech compared to other characters, but I also play him very boring. I do like that you went over his specific stage combos.

Something I'm interested in knowing. How many active DOA scenes are in the US? How big are they, notable players, how often do people meet?

Probably, will see if anyone from the Greenville/General NC scenes would want to come with me. Definitely Tempest, I know In going to FR next year. If I get a chance I'd be down to come to Charlotte sessions, I think a few of my friends here are kind of interested in picking up DOA.

I'm going to NEC for sure. I thought about going to DtN, but I think I might be busy with classes around then, need to check.

I think a throw/low out of dragon gunner stance would be okay...it's something that's normalized for the most part in this game, so I guess give it to him as well...outside of that I don't think he needs anything. Character is basically as good as he should/can be within the game and its meta...

Since I'm not sure how many people live in NC who go to this site...I'm getting a room with some of Greenville crowd for TFC. Anyone who needs a room for TFC message me and we can work out maybe fitting more people into the one I'm getting. This can also go for people out of state who are trying...
