When transfering data, you have the option to either transfer character progress and start the game off with a few extras, or have character levels completely reset, and only get the transfer bonus items. Oh I just saw your other comment. Definitely get 012 over Vanilla, as it not only includes ALL of the content from vanilla, but HOURS of extra content that'll definitely keep you busy.

He gets his Helmet and becomes an actual character in EX mode. Are you asking me if he's worth playing through the story mode for, or if playing 012 over the vanilla Dissidia is worth it?

Play 012 instead of vanilla. He should be a normal unlockable character on there.

The EWGF is easy in DOA, just hold P and the 3 input and it'll come out almost every time lol

Tekken feels a lot better as a fighter when compared to DOA in my honest opinion, as well as a lot harder. It really helps my execution, which is necesarry in most fighters. I can pull off Akira's knees all day, but still to this day struggle to pull off an EWGF.
