I agree with you. I think they are trying to focused more in the West nowadays. I hear that consoles are slowly decreasing in sales in Japan considering most in Japan are now into mobile gaming. In the West, however, consoles still sale well.

Then the simple option is to play rated E games. No need to tone down something that's made for mature audience. Wouldn't really change the gameplay or focused more on the gameplay if they did. If anything censorship just increases the stigma of "Games are only for kids".

And it's mainly the Japanese games that gets the censor treatment strangely enough. What exactly is going on? Who knew them simply moving to California would have them turn out like this. Even going as far of effect Japan itself.

I guess it really is time for them to go PC and the Switch. I mean the series started on Nintendo might as well stay with Nintendo. PC is geting more hands on in Japan recently.
