Do you want to see more diversity in DoA's character designs?

I think you misunderstood my quote - I don't want "sweet and naive" I want angry, devious, and distant, while still being physically cute. The closest any XVV characters have gotten to that is Nagisa and maybe Lobelia. KT seems afraid of putting real Bad Bitches in XVV though, which is my guess...

Do you want to see more diversity in DoA's character designs?

Would you have made the same complaint back in the "good old days", when all of the characters' faces looked like this? I'd rather have five more "Marie-face" characters with unique personalities and aesthetics than another "sweet and naive" character whose sole defining trait is their skin...

Do you want to see more diversity in DoA's character designs?

NiCO isn't in or from XVV though, so I don't think it's fair to throw her in with the rest of them if that's the argument you're making.

Do you want to see more diversity in DoA's character designs?

I think a lot of the new XVV characters definitely have a similar physiognomy to them - almost like KT is approaching new character design with a premise along the lines of "let's see what happens when we mix the traits of character X and character Y". While I suppose it is a little boring, it's...

Official Dead or Alive Xtreme Thread

It would be logical for a bartender-type character to be able to throw hands, given that dealing with drunk people comes with the profession (and drunk people can sometimes be violent). If I were to pick one character to cross over to the fighting game, my personal choice would probably be...

I feel like this is a silly question probably, but what does "maintenance" mean exactly in the context of XVV? I hear the term used often, but since I don't play I'm not sure what it refers to. Also, what does "bromide" refer to?

I'm not trying to write a manifesto or anything here, and I'm not trying to convince you to change your beliefs. I'm merely stating my own, and providing a rationale that will hopefully allow you to better understand where I'm coming from.

Again, it's up to me as an individual to mitigate the risk of accidentally shooting someone by handling my firearm appropriately. The same way it's up to me to be a responsible driver and watch for pedestrians when I get behind the wheel. The fact that the legal process behind self defence is...

As an individual, it should be my responsibility then to mitigate risks through proper firearm storage and practice. It's true - there are any number of hypothetical scenarios where someone could be killed in cold blood without recourse, gun or no gun. At the end of the day though, its an...

People in the other nations of the world may not die at the same frequency to firearms as in the US, but they're still stabbed, beaten, and raped every day by evil people. It's sad and unfortunate, but bad people exist and no amount of lawmaking will ever change that fact. I'd rather have...

@deathofaninja Legal firearms are one of the few equalisers between individuals of all different size and gender. For instance - what chance, realistically, do most women have of being able to fight off a man of greater size that wants to harm them? If someone were to break into your home and...

@deathofaninja I don't think law-abiding gun owners should be punished for the actions of depraved individuals. The fact that mass shootings only became a real phenomenon after the 90's (while the legal ownership of firearms has existed much longer) should tell us that there is an underlying...

I don't like the idea of disarming the citizenry tbh. I think people should be able to defend themselves - the American government/police are clearly not qualified to do it. Especially with such a poor track record of brutalizing innocent citizens themselves.
