The most important thing: The system changes (to crouching, to sidestepping, etc.) are good! About the character changes: I'm happy for the good chars that were not nerfed or were buffed. I'm happy for the low tier chars that got buffed. I'm sad for any chars that got nerfed.

If I remember Well the VF characters had been balanced with damage reductions. Now they have been un balanced.

But the patch was supposed to add "new features". Isn't a beach stage a new feature? Wouldn't that be a "new feature" DLC/Patch?

I'm wondering the same. What do these DLCs mean? Do they mean the patch is coming or do they mean the patch will have to wait even longer?!?!
