Change it in your PC, not in the DMM player or game. You might have to restart the game after you do it, though.

You have to go to the Gravure option in the change room screen to see Kokoro (or any of the other ladies) in other swimsuits besides their default one. You will only see the default bathing suit if you go through the Episode or Gravure Panel option screen.

How leveled up is your bathing suit? Even if you don't have the crystals, you can cannibalize swimsuits and accessories to level them up.

Playing the missions with the purple crystal on the map seems good, since you get level-up gems for the bathing suits. That will definitely help with the level-wall. And not unlocking girls with anything other than SSR is a bag of horsedicks. That will take forever. A very small complaint -...

Do you not unlock girls with SR suits? I just got an SR with Kokoro, but she's not unlocked. I guess you only get them if you get SSR ones? Even if you S ranked every one, Belts, you may just have to keep repeating them to grind out a couple of levels so you can level up.

It's broken up into Power Trainers, Tech Trainers, and Stamina trainers. It doesn't do your actual levels, but your stats. HAHA - it takes like 12 hours to do one. So, level any girls you're not going to use for a bit. I'm not exactly sure. Helena's doing the level 1 Power one right now...
