I thought he was trolling. That guy was posting several Mai concept art and would title them thins like “What could have been” and he would do the same with old DOA costumes and make other snarky comments. I just assumed he was being a troll.

They did last time. It felt the same 4 or 5 artists got their designs in the game almost every contest. (Some of them even complained about it....) I honestly wouldn’t mind if they wanted to continuously use the fan designs because it seems to be better than what they’ve come up with lately...

I just think it shows that many at people on this forum are just negative people. I get being upset about DOA6 and the DLC pricing it’s lack of DLC for the men, but lately they do one thing and immediately it’s the end of the world and it becomes highly dramatized. If you don’t like this game...

The witches are actually kinda cute. They are much better than some of the trashy/ugly costumes we have gotten from previous design contest IMO. The season pass recolors though are hideous. That purple/pink mess for Ayane is terrible and the grey for Kasumi... yuck. Why would you make a recolor...

Yeah, but I’m DOA5LR, everyone got something except for Mai. I assume it was a contract issue with KOF and that’s why we haven’t gotten anything new for Mai or Kula.

Are Kula and Mai options to design for or since they are KOF guests, are they excluded? I know Mai never got support beyond her initial release in DOA5LR. I would love to make one for Kula, but don’t want it to be a waste of time if she won’t get anything.

I’m working on some edgy Kpop inspired casuals for a few characters. Hopefully I have time to submit them. I have one started for NiCo, Marie Rose, Lisa, Momiji, and Helena. I also have a fun concept for a Chinese inspired Lolita dress for Leifang. Idk about time though.

I agree that they could nerf her, but at the same time she isn’t top tier.

She is highly counterable and way easier to predict than Alpha. Kula has a very limited pool of moves to pull from and she isn’t necessarily a hard hitter. I think I’m a tournament setting, she would be a rather dangerous choice.

You have to buy them per character. You get every color for them, but I want to either have them sold individually or per color. I don’t need all 9 of the colors for one character, but I’d buy 1 color for all of the girls.

They will explain it in the filler episode, just like any good anime.

Too bad they didn’t recycle the swimsuits because the ones they gave us were awful. Worst dlc set thus far. I don’t care for the revealing ones, but they would have been better than these bland copy paste bikinis we got.

Her birthday costume is super cute and I am glad to see it doesn’t have a tail. Haha
