So Among many of the things that UNIST does right... it also allows you to change the in game speed in Missions & Tutorials... unless if I'm missing something, this feature is more or less useless. Its Amazing... but Useless.
I thought 5U had the better tutorial but 5 vanilla was more likely to be more informative due to where the tutorial was placed.
They should just get Jack-O Valentine from Guilty Gear to do the Tutorial. Shes a fun Teacher.
I left you the list on the thread you made... I don't play some of those characters so the commands maybe wrong... but they definitely have unblockable attacks.
I can try:
Everybody = :t:hrow
:akira: = :1::6::p+k::6::1::P::6::4::P::236::p+k: (GBOD = Guard Break Of Doom) also (Citation Needed)
Technically this is not an unblockable... its actually a Guard Break. What makes it different from all the other guard breaks is this is the only one with a canned...
Thatz how I know that mechanic is bull shit...
Itz only purpose is to exploit players who either don't understand it or don't want to bother with it...
I'm not even talking about DoA exclusively.
SFV, Guilty Gear and Virtua Fighter also have this mechanic and its bullshit in those games too.
First of all... By default its usually already 3 options because you don't get much advantage or benefit from low attacks in DoA...
And the key word is Rarely...
Even on a Fastest Stagger you still had to guess between those same 3 options...
And yes... Lulu the guy who spends more time in...
Itz funny... The only reason you needed to learn how to Stagger escape is because some people didn't know their legit Stun Routes...
I can understand why the people who exploited this fact would miss it in this same way Guilty Gear players would miss the extra damage from its wonky Teching...
@DestructionBomb
Neither do you, Apparently.
If you get Hit Neutral is over... Combos Begin.
You could Stagger Escape to reduce the advantage but enough for it to not get hit something faster, which every character could... after all you have to guess out of 4 follow up options and stagger...
@DestructionBomb
Stagger Escaping has got nothing to do with Neutral though... there was nothing Vital about it... TN just didn't want players on the receiving end to fall asleep from inactivity when Hayabusa, Rig, Zack, Gen Fu and Christie link multiple sit down stuns together for Guaranteed...
@human013
I totally agree... that option would be silly and unnecessary. But I'm all about being inclusive and I believe that players should be allowed to tailor their controls to whatever suits them best...
So even if I think many fighting games should lower the execution barrier... I...
Phenom also uses a 360 Controller. Both him and smug must have some seriously mutated hands to prefer that controller specifically... its so bad... not just in terms of ergonomics... after I got my fight pad I found the 360 Controller has lingering inputs... if you tap a button the controller...
Actually its the opposite... Fighting Games that have low execution barriers are still the exception... not the norm. And so the best players are still using Arcade Sticks...
Also the Higher the execution barrier for a Particular Game... the more likely its top players likely to be Japanese.
After all none of the ArcSys Games actually let you have custom chains (Except for UNIST)... every chain must be cancelled in a specific order and you rarely saw variations... so what BBCT did was just reduced the number of buttons needed to essentially did the exact same thing. Its not even...
@human013
They are Morons and Elitists... that being said I think TN should include the option to Stagger Escape manually if they want it so badly
@MegaMegaMike
I haven't dabbled enough in DBFZ... but after fiddling with BBCT I noticed something rather obvious. BBCT doesn't actually have...
