I find games I want to play, then play them at my own pace. This does lead to awkward breaks between sessions, like a 1-month break halfway through Bayonetta, but I find it keeps me sane during stressful parts.

Played the MKX demo at this year's Fan Expo. Long story short, I played Cassie Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Kotal Khan. Cassie and KK are great fun, with their styles greatly changing their playstyles. Scorpion's inputs are similar to Injustice, and his Hellfire style feels horrible...

Just try not to keep your expectations too high. It's harder to be disappointed.
