Actually, 10 to 15 years ago lol. That's when people like him, Nicki, & Drake began creating buzz. Which MGK was known before them but Drake & Nicki bold proved themselves as artists. He hasn't & he's 28 now trying to go up against Em. And I love MGK's music lol. So me saying this says something.

Furthermore, Lil Wayne can't be the best rapper alive when he's not able to write music most people like me or you can relate to. Freestyles will only go so far with me or real rap fans (hip hop).

Ago, MGK would've immediately been dropped from his labels (even though I love his mixtapes) & forgotten about. He still hasn't made a really strong album to this day. lol. Let that sink in.

T.I. is very underrated as one of the greatest MCs of all time. He can do it all. Kendrick, J.Cole, G-Eazy, & only a certain few make this list in today's rap, but Tip is a legend. I come from the age of where you can't be called "Godlike" like Jay-Z, Eminem, or Nas without selling over 500,000...

Lil Wayne is in my top 10 but he's overrated as hell. Most of his music consists of smoking weed, popping pills, & having sex. Not really actual situations of life. He's a lyrical mastermind for sure, but he's only as good as his freestyles. Tha Carter series has for the most part been good, but...

Nicki is good but I wouldn't call her one of my favorites. lol. Too artists who are better imo. We're in a different age generation. So I see why.
