Going to see Fairy Tail Dragon Cry in a few hours. First time seeing subtitled anime in the theater. Should be interesting.

Ninja Gaiden is my favorite gaming franchise of all time and likely won't be unseated, as much as I love Nioh. I will always take more Ninja Gaiden in any form.

Got the new DLC but didn't have time to really start it because I never did the fight with Maria previously. Not sure how I missed it. She is...not a well-designed boss. I hate super armor on enemies. She actually killed me more than any previous enemy or boss ever did and it didn't feel earned...

FWIW I've completed all missions at this point without over-leveling or putting much time into gear at all. It can be done, it's just harder. Less of an issue against human enemies. The snake bastards that look like Las Plagas in the last DLC proved problematic but I never died against them.

None of that is gameplay, to me. I play Nioh like an action game and the rest is just window dressing in my eyes. The core gameplay hasn't really changed. I'm probably pitifully under-leveled for the endgame content and I don't intend to change that for the new DLC either.

They haven't changed the core gameplay at all. Just some move tweaks and smithing type things. There is no benefit to waiting, here. That'd be in much the same vein as you waiting to start a fighting game because they'll patch.

Don't care what platform it's on. I'll buy it wherever. I'd prefer multiplatform, though. Exclusivity does not benefit action games at all. Just look at Bayonetta 2 for a recent cautionary tale.
