I feel confident with 5 (Marie, Kasumi, Ayane, Phase 4 and Leifang) and the remaining ones I am currently practising (Kokoro, Helena, Honoka, Bayman) Going through every moveset isnt necessary, just fight the characters and at some point you'll recognize a lot of their moves and capabilities...

In a tournament scenario its nice to have a pocket character but in my case I play 9 characters lol
