    I imagine they mean that she is using her Ninja Gaiden moveset, unlike kasumi. Oh wait, i read that wrong. Yeah, Ayane is weirdly better overall in the NG series and more memorable i would say.

    I though that too, but Mr. Wah told me once that the japanese fanbase got so disappointed with the DOAD story that Team Ninja at one point declared that the DOAD story isn't canon, could never find any confirmation though.

    I made my choice sometime ago i guess. Ayane, because ninja gaiden games and fun moveset in DOA. And i think her hair is naturally purple, in DOAD her eyebrows are brown, which would indicate hair coloring, but DOAD isn't canon anyways.

    NiOH is just Team Ninja proving again that if they have a direction, they can make great gameplay. Yasuda showed that a bit on NG3RE, though not much due to being a re-release, and Ninja Gaiden Black being other game that shows TN's potential in the action genre. NiOH is just something amazing...
