My realistic side says its gonna be some silly girl character again. I hope its genra or some form of genra. Heck Donovan with his moveset would be fine. Genra is really not similar at all to any style currently in the game in the way he is played. He thrives on throw loops and zoning.

Also if a certain samurai(genra) was in the game, he'd be a perfect tekkaman blade. I just gotta say, as a huge fan of both tatsunoko vs capcom and falcom(ys mainly) these costume packs can be some of the best packs released for the game. If they screw these up and make them female only packs...

Yeah it doesn't have to be genra himself. I'm gonna start sending team ninja genra related support, maybe they will get some kind of message even if this next character isn't genra or his moveset, maybe the next one afterwards will be.

I don't see them making it so Cloud is the only playable character. Part of the charm of ff7 was the wide cast of chars and their various strengths, I'm sure they know this, and plus there are parts of the game where cloud isnt even available. Regarding changing the battle system, at this point...

Lol afraid not, whiffing normals doesnt build any meter and her palm doesnt have the range and active frames it had in third strike. Only use I found for it is a situational anti air and in combo strings, it also nullifies fireballs in v-trigger. Its not useful in neutral really.
