She is a female tengu, and her motivations are still unclear. 1) I like the character a lot and the moveset. Nothing to dislike about her.

1) He was once the good adoptive father of ayane that got controlled into Omega, but now he was retconned to Evil since the beginning, which i get was more to show how misguided ayane was, idk. 2) I like his visual a lot, and his weapon-thing. I'm not sure if i like or dislike the retcon about him.

yeah, they aren't, but giving the possibility of breaking any throw in DOA break entirely all the grappler characters to a point where they would be completely worthless.

we don't add things just to make the game more deep, you have to think of balance, and how this works with the game core mechanics. You can escape neutral throws, you can escape combo throws, and if you're pressing an attack button, you're not getting grabbed out of it. DOA doesn't suit in any...
