Those were his only good close range moves, and you're only gonna land 6T on someone who is holding or as throw punishment, given it is the best throw in the game but still. For him to be a legitimate threat up close his moves would have to be given + on block status. PPP,PPK, 7P, for example...
If they ever did make an HD version of 3 it would probably be based of 3.2 because it was the latest version. But still I would take that over whatever they got today.
Viola is pretty unreasonable. I can deal with her reasonably well at least due to GI, and patroklos can regain all the meter in 1 post GI combo, I feel besides viola the game is perfectly fine though.
Yeah, I was really disappointed Cassandra was cut at first, but I greatly enjoyed using Patroklos, and I figured I could always go back to the older games if I wanted to use her. Now with this release, I can switch between the two.
No one is saying those things aren't important in doa. It's just that the chances of an experienced player in TTT2 or VF5FS losing to a newbie are extremely low. In doa I've lost to noobs sometimes simply because they played completely random with their holds and that just works sometimes.
Honestly the patch didn't bother me really, aside from nerfing a few characters who didn't need to be nerfed and buffing viola to god tier. The characters I play(sword and shield characters) really benefited from the backstep nerf, especially Patroklos.
The thing is that introducing a new protagonist would also undermine what makes Ryu great.. He is the most powerful ninja in the world, the singular super ninja. Introducing a new protagonist that can do exactly what he can would ruin part of what makes Ryu so awesome.
