Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus did combine most of the best of both titles, but the engine suffered quite a bit. Framerate was playable but not NG-friendly sometimes.

Toss a shuriken and attack them normally while they're in block stun. Momiji can reliably land XXYYY every time and Kasumi can land XXXYY. Rinse and repeat. You can also do UT spam if it's one on one but you can't release the UT until they dodge back and then lunge forward to fire their alchemy...

I'm all about new moves but I think the hit to 3H+K and its variants is going to be huge. That was a big part of his pressure game. Removing tracking was one thing but this is overkill. If you think about it he has nothing else to fill that gap.

Rachel is barely aware of her surroundings. This is the girl who failed to recognize a slow ass giant tentacle monster as a threat (or possible even as a presence).
