    if you want to try kasumi, hitomi, diego, or bass the mod will work with that free "core fighters" thing. i'm probably not gonna do sidestep stuns but the oki mindgame has been a lot of fun so far and some characters are canceling sidesteps into stuff which might be an acceptable substitute.

    thanks, yeah. if it was less work to do all this i'd love to try wacky shit like doa 1 rules where you have the weird 2.5D movement instead of freestep and all the inputs are wild or putting the systematic changes onto boss raidou and using cheat engine to play him etc.

    yeah the AI doesn't know what's going on it'll behave like normal doa 6 ai but it seems fine if you're using breakGaugeMode = 2 in the config. we could change some ai strings but that's a lot and we're busy enough making pvp. ------------------------- and yeah raijin will get tuned down a bit...

    yeah raijin will get tuned down a little at least to only being crazy damage on counter/hicounter so it won't be the best whiff punish in the game. fatals are certainly a work in progress, one of the official patches added NH fatal stuns to everybody but they're not created equal so we'll see...

    there's sort-of slow escape but it's automatic and you only get like the "fast" setting. I already explained that I think some guy isn't gonna do a better job with a meter system in a 3D game than multiple separate professional teams did and that we already know DOA works and plays good...

    3k at the wall into jak was a guaranteed back hit reset and those suck. helena, like the other characters which did not get a bunch of individual changes, did not have a bunch of old content to return and (unlike diego) has a well-populated movelist without much room for obvious additions...
