I like DOA6 Hayate a lot more, he looks less blurry and more like a person. It also looks like he has more practice putting on his eyeliner. Side note: this is probably unpopular, but I really like how since DOA5 everybody gets ridiculously sweaty. It makes it stand out from other fighters...

I think it's just another example of them needing to adjust face details since they no longer have drawn-on shadows like in DOA5. People often don't realize how different just minor shadows make in the interpretation of a face, it can make facial features even seem like they moved.

Has DOA6 made you want to pick up characters you didn’t really play before (aside from the new people, obviously)? I’ve always mained Helena and then Kokoro, but after playing and seeing 6, I really want to spend time on Honoka.

Because when you’re doing a promotional tour on talk shows, you’re not selling the game to tournament players. It’s a tried-and-true tactic to show normal people playing your game to get normal people to buy your game.

I get all that, but he doesn’t have access to the final build of the game because one doesn’t exist. He’s using and sharing videos from the same build that’s being toured right now, as far as I can tell.

I don't think he's lying, I think he's mistaken. He's the community manager, I don't think that necessarily means he knows every intricacy of the development process. If Shimbori said it, that would be different.

Regardless of Master's response, I still don't believe male characters will only have 2 outfits at launch. It just seems fishy, no DOA game since mabye 1 had that few costumes.

I don’t know Eliot well enough to say whether he needs to be able to drop directly into his stance, but he wouldn’t be the first to require an attack. There are a number of characters who do need to attack to get into a stance, like Honoka and Kokoro.
