Niche franchise needs to justify itself, financially, as a priority. You might not have noticed, but gaming in general is in need of making bank. Even EA and Activision are cutting jobs.
Despite the persistent matchmaking/netcode issues, Dissida NT looks and runs great on PC.
When are TN gonna stick the network landing? Cos it's literally their only stumbling block, from where I'm standing.
Close and reopen the game, or go online and search for an opponent, then back out. Then try again. Network link isn't refreshed on character change, and the x100 is an online 'event.'
I could be barking up the wrong tree, totally, tho. Be nice to hear from Master on this. Maybe they're holding back on all platforms until they're ready to launch together, and one platform is being a particular pain? Or cert turn around, or something?
Can't see that it would take them a month+ (remembering that they've been working on this a while, before launch.) TN aren't Bioware or Bungie, sure - they're not massive. But they're not shit tiny, either. There's enough manpower there to contract out to someone like Square. There should be...
Still get ppl nudge me on the MTR when I wear my Fighter t, here in HK. Solid campaign, that cemented the community family feel.
Small games need that shit.
I have a sneaky suspicion this is because the TN networking staff have been pulled back over to Square, to fix up NT's broken launch. Just speculation, of course - no source on that. But they seem to be drip-feeding dev time for DoA6, which doesn't make a huge amount of sense for a team that...
They've made a right mess of her moveset, porting her to 6. Hard to tell if it's a bug, or a nerf that was changed mid-development, and forgotten about.
