See, I found that with Tengu on DOA4. I had no idea that he's apparently ass-tier, but I never had trouble winning with him online. Tengu, Leon & Helena got me to A- pretty quickly. I always put it down to people not knowing how to counter Tengu because he was a grind to get. On topic though...
