If anything, I see her Kachosen being in a way like a Chun-Li Fireball, it will help extend a combo rather be used as a useful long range tool in a 3D environment. But yeah, I don't see her keeping ANY of her actual aerial moves or they will most likely be like Momiji's Double Jump mixups.

Considering how they ported Naotora from Samurai Warriors, we can ABSOLUTELY expect that Mai's moves will be carried over in the same respect. Which means she will have ranged options too. This is honestly surreal.

Mai is basically a fragile speedster with plenty of variety in her moveset kit. She's not super strong, but she's good where it counts.
