In the past 2 weeks preparing for IPL, I went from C+ (I had just finished up the D, E, F achievements for DOA4) to A with Kokoro.

That's exactly what I've been doing today, going over the match myself, and then with my friends. I feel like I did learn a lot about how I play in just that one match. I'm excited to get to another tournament soon. I just hope DOA5 can eke out a scene for itself with its improvements this time...

Yeah, I mean, it's still possible but stuns are longer than you'd think. I was trying to play the game like DOA4, spamming counter and such, and they came out maybe less than 50% of the time. I was also watching some players championing DOA4's style of play getting frustrated that they couldn't...

The PS3 had notably longer load tmes and something about it felt less responsive than the 360 version. I could be wrong, it's what I felt.

No, they're not back. I too made the mistake of thinking some get-up attacks were high but they're not, they just look like it. An optical illusion if you will.

Tourney was fun. DOA5 is amazing! PS3 version seemed iffy to me though... Will make it out to more tourneys in the future should they exist!

Can't sleep, excitement and nerves. IPL will be my first tourney ever. Hope to make some friends!

Don't see why one PB a round would be a problem if it's only taken away from you after you land it or it's reduced to a guard break after.
