Alpha has a nice lavender color for one of her schoolgirl outfit colors. It really looks nice. I wonder if that color also exists for her regular naked outfit. Also, some moves of Alpha's do actually look stronger, but without the damage counter up I can't tell. 4K string looked buffed, anyway.

I feel like I'm the only one who actually LIKES Salad's theme. The dokidoki bubblegum rainbowness is a nice change from all the gloomy stuff

From what I heard last night after talking with someone who got to play Last Round, Alpha's actually been BUFFED. I don't know the specifics, but he mentioned that she feels faster, and has more teleport cancels. The most notable one was a wake-up teleport. If this is all true, my hype levels...

I think they're supposed to look weird. After all, she's not actually a fighter. So she doesn't really know proper stances. Her prowess only shows during the middle of a fight, where she goes into some seemingly sort of trance-like state. Sort of like Noel Vermillion from Blazblue, or Dominique...

If Raidou's DOA1 theme doesn't make it in the game I'm gonna be pissed.

Underworld Drop did 85 damage iirc and his OH did 100. 150 on Hi-counter. Fireball damage was either 50 or 80 iirc depending on how long you held it.

I personally find the 3DS easier to use than a PS3 or 360 controller. The D-pad feels perfect for DOA. The input is a pain because it takes so long to do, so you have to predict their hold REAAAALLLY FAR in advance. It's not fun.

IMO What I think they should do is bring back old outfits from various other fighters that never made it into DOA5LR, and use those for Honoka. It'd be interesting to see her copy appearances as well as moves, but I guess everyone would just cry "laziness" at TN if they did that.

IMO we should keep both. Use "salad" for my joke one, and "honoka" for a real one. The joke's gotten big enough; it deserves to stay. That said I wouldn't be opposed to someone making a new one for Salad. If you want I could just slap a Salad overtop of the new Honoka one and call it a day...

You had to play the Story Mode in vanilla 5 to unlock Akira, Sarah, and Gen Fu.

Story Mode received major changes recently. We all thought every DOA was going to have the same formula; pick your favorite character, and go through their own little story leading up to a final boss. DOA Dimensions changed that by forcing you to play as certain characters as one constant story...

The thing about Double is that she's not a copy character at all. Every single one of Double's moves are entirely original. Double only copies appearances, not fighting styles. No. The fanbase should obviously be "The Salad Bar".
