Unfortunately that was introduced in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and I couldn't see it going anywhere as it would appear to be what "the fans" want. Almost as bad as people getting mad that the boobs weren't big enough in the alpha demo so tecmo made them bigger for the final version.

I think the point of this game (like Tekken Revolution) is to test out gaming concepts and mechanics which would get integrated into future games. Plus to make money on dlc that people seam to like so much.

To my knowledge this game does not exist and without having photographic or video proof I will not believe this. Itagaki only had a small idea about a Volleyball game back in the doa2 games, not even a mini game.

The only truth behind the whole doa2/volley ball connection is Itagaki had been thinking about making the game since the DOA2 times, I have heard places misquote him about including said mini game in doa2 but it was just the fact that he had the idea back then not that it would become part of doa2.

I have swapped the moveset to Bass (he seams the most functional with it) and I was only able to do a few of Tengu's moves.

Just wondering, have you ever taken a look at the unfinished Tengu moveset buried in the doa3 files (tengu.bin tengu.mot). It has some of his signature throws and strikes but seams very unfinished as it was probably scrapped since they had to rush the game out for the xbox launch.

Unfortunately I never played any of the doa games in an actual arcade. I have only since played the arcade games due to emulation and of coursr purchasing the hardware. It would have been amazing to play the game back when it first came out.

How much does everyone want to bet when they are done releasing dlc tecmo will release Dead or Alive 5 Last Round Ultimate containing all DLC (slightly before doa6 release when people loose interest in buying doa5 dlc)
