Akira is most certainly slept on and not even almost B tier. I used to believe he was the top of B or the bottom of A but after inspecting his tools further he's no shorter than high tier. He is a tier directly below the top tiers. A+, High tier period, no less.

Now I remember why I stopped playing online. Can't react to jack, wrong holds come out, can't duck highs/throws. Everything feels so slow.

The last thing I wanted was another Kasumi. But still, P4 looks absolutely sick and will SURELY be picked up. She's what Kasumi should be.

Funny thing is I read an article that paralleled this one about PR Rog over in the SF scene going to Japan and saying the exact same thing about their scene and playerbase vs the American one. Guess it doesn't even matter what the game itself is, the Japanese are just genuinely more helpful and...

I'm surprised anyone was gutsy enough to even try to make a list like this, no good could have possibly come out of it. (Though It kind of made me wish I had been able to form some sort of offline event. I want to be legit too!)

I think it's time to move on.

New serious black fighter would be cool. Also maybe a Judo fighter. But a new non ninja male character would be cool in general. Don't give two shakes about Tengu but there's clearly some demand for him so why not bring him back I guess, takes precedence over clone or guest characters for sure.

I think I'll just sit back and wait for the new characters. It's better to come back to a fresh game than wait around for them one by one.

Phase 4 actually looks pretty cool. Wouldn't be my main but definitely a replacement for Kasumi if I ever wanted to pick her up.
