Atleast Killer Instinct had a consistent plot even before the reboot if you want to use that logic. Still better than Street Fighter's non existent, all over the place plot. It doesn't help your case that the Prologue for SFV looks to be extremely subpar, so how is the Cinematic Story Mode is...

Actually, you are pretty wrong there in terms of both games. KI has a F2P version which no matter how much you buy will ALWAYS end in buying the full game anyway(as the costs reduce themselves each time). This is also helping the fact that you can still easily buy the entire S2 base pack itself...
